Bella and Lustig are the proud parents of seven beautiful AKC German Shepherd puppies born August 10, 2022. They will be ready for their new homes when they are eight weeks old (around October 8th). There are five males and two females in this litter. All of the puppies in this litter have been reserved. Bella and Her Puppies on Their Day of Birth (August 10, 2022)
ABOUT THEIR PUPPIES
The mother of this litter is Lady Isabella (“Bella” for short), a black-and-tan long-haired AKC German Shepherd who loves the water - loves, loves, loves it! She plays in her pool, digs in her water bowl, and would probably stay wet 24x7 if she were allowed to do so. Bella has a very laid back personality and a calm demeanor, and has been very easy to train. She is loving with her family, alerts well when strangers approach, and is trustworthy beyond measure.
The father of this litter is Lustig Er Amadeus Burg (“Lustig” for short), a black-and-red long stock coat German Shepherd. Lustig is a European import from Kyiv, Ukraine, and the son of a 4x VA (“excellent select”) champion, the highest attainable award granted at the annual Sieger show. Lustig is a well-built, muscular German Shepherd. He loves to play, but is always very calm, cool and collected. He is fiercely loyal, protective of home and family, yet he is gentle as a lamb with family members and guests. Lustig is registered with both the Ukranian Kennel Union and the AKC, which means his offspring will be AKC puppies.
The puppies in this litter are $2,300 each, and they will be ready for their new homes in early October. 2022. To reserve one, you can place a $300 deposit; information on how to do that can be found on our Purchasing page. Please contact us first to ensure there are still puppies available.
Because both Bella and Lustig are long-haired dogs, we expect their litter to be long-haired pups. All German Shepherd pups are born with black smooth coats; long coats will become apparent by eight weeks of age. While all of the puppies are basically black now, their markings and coloration will develop and change dramatically over time; they will start to become apparent within the first couple of weeks and will become more pronounced each week. Wonder what the puppies will look like as they grow? This is Bella’s first litter, but Lustig has fathered a number of litters already. You can see photos of puppies from his past litters here. A Glimpse Inside Our Kennel
For those of you who may not be able to visit us and see the inside of our kennel, we wanted to give you a glimpse right here. We take great pride in our kennel; it takes a lot of work to keep it this clean. As you can see, it is set up like a kitchen in a home so that puppies become accustomed to all the sights and sounds that will take place in their new home - including a dishwasher, blender and washer/dryer. The puppies get regular baths and are played with both inside and outside by our children, our gramma, and (when they are old enough) by our friends as well. It’s a beautiful setting for them to get a healthy, happy start!
